Outdoor runs are heavy duty enclosures built for permanent, unsupervised yard containment. Indoor pens and crates (available in wire, metal, or plastic PVC) are lighter options, ideal for house-training or apartments where a full outdoor run is not practical.

In most cases, yes. We sell individual panels and door panels separately for our heavy duty metal and outdoor pet enclosures, allowing you to expand your setup without replacing the whole pen. Our 8-panel wire playpens are permanently joined, so they expand only in multiples of 8. Whelping boxes can also be extended in height using the stacking adaptors included in the box.

Yes. Carabiner clips or cable ties are the simplest way to join a heavy duty playpen or run panel to a crate. For our collapsible wire dog crates, matching wire playpens can clip on directly (Small and Medium crate sizes require an additional clip, sold separately).

Not always. It depends on whether your dog is prone to jumping or climbing. We sell dedicated sun and rain covers for our welded-panel outdoor dog enclosures (in 3m × 2m and 2m × 2m configurations). If your main goal is to stop a climber rather than provide shelter from the weather, chicken wire or flyscreen mesh from a local hardware store is an easy, budget-friendly solution.

When you buy a dog enclosure online from Vebo Pets, standard sizes ship fast right across Australia. However, large or x-large oversized items (over 1.1 metres long) cannot be sorted by machine for regional routes and require manual handling by the courier team, which can add extra transit time.
