Chew-Proof Dog Beds
Did you know a typical power chewer like the Staffordshire Bull Terrier has the bite force of 100-150kg? So when a dog with that kind of bite force is able to get a proper grip on a piece of fabric, regardless of what material is made out of, the bed will always lose. It's just a matter of time.
So when you are looking for a dog bed that is truely chew resistant, the design of the bed is arguably more important than what material it is made out of. In order for a dog to chew on the fabric, the fabric needs to be placed in between the top and lower jaws. If a dog is unable fit the fabric inside its jaws, then it is impossible to chew on it. It's a simple concept.
Our chew-proof bed is designed in a way where all 4 edges of a piece of fully stretched fabric are fully hidden inside a thick metal frame, so there is simply no way a dog can position the fabric inside its jaw without its teeth hitting the aviation grade aluminum tube getting in the way. Metal is also the last thing a dog would ever chew on, so that is why our bed is truly chew-proof. The heavy-duty PVC fabric is similar to the material people use for truck curtains, so it can withstand considerable scratching and digging before puncturing.
